Glad to hear this may help. You may be able to reuse the Client Version class within UO:98 too, I think it's pretty good (heavily biased opinion).

There's some specific info on packet differences extractable from the packet handling code as well. UO:98 will support all but the earliest clients (which I don't think are available anyway) up through 5.0.8.x.

I'm not at all happy with the packet handling architecture within sharpkick though, I intend to re-do it.
