Oops.

I expected it would email me when there were new applications, it did not. All set now, sorry about the delay.

I thought that was the correct client. I'll have to check the map. Thanks for letting me know.

It looks like I have the T2A-CD map files in there, same as what are installed when you install UO:98

This is likely going to be a problem, although the server supports al clients, the client map files differences are going to cause players to get stuck :/

What's the community consensus on this? Should I drop the map file from 5.0.8.3 in there?

Personally I think the demo server for UO:98, as the niche product it is, should stick firmly to it's niche: T2A. I'm not discouraging the broader client support by any means, but I do think it has a narrow target audience that needs to be catered to. Unless of course the 5.0.8.3 client files would have no adverse impact on the T2A crowd, in which case it's an easy yes =D

Any jerkoff can setup a default RunUO installation and screw around with AOS clients, but out of the box T2A support is something unique to UO:98 which should be present in it's official demo server.

Thanks. Makes sence to me :)

We'll keep the hosted UO:98 server as the default installation with the map and tiledata from the T2A CD.

If you review my post out packet changes, you can see that some packets were changed and added:
http://www.joinuo.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=693

rahter big changes imho:
1.26.0 added Pants and Shirts color (selection) in the Character Creation Packet
1.26.0 added the Fastwalk Prevention Key

From a player point-of-view, you can also review the client changes at uoguide: http://www.uoguide.com/List_of_Classic_Client_Patches
(the information on that site is not always complete, but it's better than nothing)
<Derrick> RunUO AI is kind of a functional prototype, which i have hacked into something resembling OSI behavior, but only by complitcating everything
